Gerald is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist at the Houston Center for Christian Counseling. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Seminary, and a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Houston Baptist University.

Gerald has published two books, Notes from a Country Parson and Marriage Minutes.

Gerald has been leading communication and marriage workshops and events for over 20 years. He uses his experience both as a counselor (since 1989) and pastor (since 1965) to incorporate real stories and examples to bring concepts to life. His warm, relaxed demeanor sets the tone to help others understand and master material.
