Bill Ritter, Licensed Professional Counselor, has been a therapist at the Houston Center for Christian Counseling since 1991. He graduated with a Masters Degree in Psychology from HBU in May, 1991. Prior to this, Bill worked 19 years for Conoco/Vista Chemical Company as a Chemical Engineer and Director of Planning. The change in career paths came as a calling from the Lord to "comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." (2 Cor. 1:4-6) Bill counsels adolescents and adults in individual, couples, marital and group settings. He is experienced in treating most problems with special interest in depression, anxiety, anger, self-esteem and marriage. His normal mode of counseling is biblical/cognitive-behavioral. Bill was born in 1947, married in 1970, has two adult children and attends Katy Bible Church. He ministers to adolescents at the Katy Juvenile Boot Camp weekly.
