I have a passion for counseling those working through the grief process, and have worked extensively with clients working through the pain of loss. I strive to be genuinely practical in the application of my counseling. I am licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), with 13 years experience as a License Social Worker assisting those with bereavement and trauma issues.
I had the opportunity to be a keynote speaker at the Ninth Annual Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors’ of the Military Seminar in Washington D.C. I graduated from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA, with a Master’s Degree in Counseling. My Bachelor of Arts Degree is from Houston Baptist University. I counsel grieving individuals, trauma victims, women, couples, and clients with depression, anxiety, and other life adjustment issues.
My husband, Jerry, and I have been married since 1973, and have 3 adult children, and 7 grandchildren. A verse of hope I have lived by is II Cor. 1:4-5, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion, and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we may comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves received from God.”
