Fees

The fee for a one-hour (50-minute) psychotherapy session

1. Initial assessment (1st session)- $135.00
2. Additional Sessions - $125.00
3. Sessions with Interns - Fees range from $50 to $90 depending on the tenure of the intern. If these fees create a problem, please call the center and ask to speak directly to the intern in order to negotiate these fees.

Initial sessions take more time for the receptionists to get information from clients; for the insurance department to qualify and get appropriate authorization from EAP's or Managed Care companies; and for the therapist to do a proper evaluation. That is why the first session rate is higher. Standard rates apply for additional sessions. This rate applies to individuals, couples or families. HCCC is a training facility and employs therapists who have acquired temporary licenses. These interns work at special rates as listed above.

We ask clients to pay their fee immediately after the service is rendered. Insurance may pay some portion of this fee. In that case, we ask clients to pay their co-payment immediately after the service is rendered. Please recognize that HCCC's submission of claim forms to your insurance company is done as a service to you. HCCC will diligently do everything possible to get reimbursed from your insurance company. In the event there are extenuating circumstances and insurance does not pay for your session(s), you are ultimately responsible for the balance on your account.
