Hi, I am Jeanne Hensley and have been a Christian Counselor since 1993. Prior to my training as a counselor, I was a school teacher and stay at home mom. I was married for nineteen years before I was widowed with two school aged children.

I became a Christian Counselor after experiencing God’s great healing in my own life. I believe all real healing comes from God. I practice Christ centered counseling, focusing on spiritual roots of emotional and relationship issues.  I love working with people and seeing God bring wonderful changes in their lives.

I work with individuals with depression, anxiety, relationship issues as well as with spiritual issues of anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, fear, abuse and grief.  I work with marriage and family counseling, blended family counseling, parent and child issues and sibling problems. I am EMDR trained and help clients with trauma issues. 

I have a Bachelor of Science of Social Studies and a Master of Science of Counseling. I am licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, assisting new counselors in growing in the profession.  

I have been a guest speaker on radio and television, co-authored a book, Family Secrets, and have given seminars on the subject of forgiveness, communication and spiritual growth It is my prayer that God continues to use me as an instrument of His healing and a vessel of His love. I have two married sons and daughter in laws and enjoy spending time with my two adorable grandchildren. I would love the opportunity to work with you.
