A psychotherapist since 1998, Stacey has a MA in Counseling Psychology. She is licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Through the Houston Center for Christian Counseling, Stacey provides counseling to individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children. She provides EMDR therapy which is an effective treatment for trauma recovery. Stacey is also particularly interested in Women's Issues.

Since 1982, Stacey has been involved in counseling in various settings. As part of her training, she has worked with cancer patients and their families, with parents of very young children, as a Stephen Minister through her church in Katy, with special education students in elementary and middle school in the Lamar Consolidated School District and with troubled high school and middle school students in Galveston County.

Prior to moving to Texas in 1990, Stacey was a Commercial Banker in Los Angeles, California. She has a college-age son and daughter.
