I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Campbell University and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I studied at Asbury Theological Seminary, with a focus on leadership, spiritual development, and counseling, which led to a desire to pursue counseling as a career.

After living in Orlando, Florida for 22 years, in 2010, my husband and I moved to Houston with his new job. I worked at a non-profit Christian counseling agency in 2011, then a retreat center in 2013, where I focused on Theophostic™ prayer ministry (now Transformational Prayer Ministry.) I witnessed the amazing power of the Lord healing deep pain, in session after session, and my desire is for others to know this transforming experience.

Having personally suffered with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and an eating disorder (Anorexia Nervosa), I am dedicated to helping people overcome these illnesses, and walk into their God-given freedom. For anyone who has experienced trauma, I am also skilled in using EMDR to allow the brain, body and mind, to “re-set,” achieving a state of calm.

I work with couples to help them create a satisfying relationship - understanding what drew them together, honoring their differences, resolving relational conflicts, and designing a passionate, fulfilling future based on shared values, by using Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Imago therapy. I am a certified Facilitator of Saving Your Marriage Before (and After) It Starts, and Prepare-Enrich/Building Strong Marriages. Both programs offer a personalized assessment for couples, highlighting strengths and weaknesses, and exercises leading to optimal growth as individuals, and unity as a couple.

I have served as a ministry leader with Cleansing Stream, a worldwide Christian discipleship ministry dedicating to helping people walk with God daily, teaching them how to break free their painful traumas, unwanted habits, addictions, relationship problems, and anything that hinders their growth - resulting in living the victorious Christian life, creating healthy families, and equipping people to serve in the Kingdom of God.

I am committed to illuminating people’s strengths and pointing them toward God’s faithfulness to respond to their struggles and challenges. I am a strong advocate for clients spending time alone with God to cultivate a vibrant spiritual life. It is truly the most rewarding adventure, and one that brings ultimate healing and freedom!

I married my husband, Jim, in 1983 while he was a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne (Army). We enjoy traveling, music, and theater. For relaxation and to stay fit, I practice yoga and weight training

If God is calling you to an adventure in growth, healing, and life-change, I would be honored to work with you!
