Our story.
At Houston Center for Christian Counseling, we strive to provide the most ethical, professional, and qualified care possible. Through integrating our faith and clinical training, we can offer biblically sound and psychologically skilled approaches to life’s struggles. Our doors are open to clients from all religious, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
We meet in person and virtually. With locations in Sugar Land and Katy, we have been serving the Houston area and across the State of Texas since 1981. We see children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, we offer individual, family, couples, and group counseling.
Our counselors are each licensed through the State of Texas and complete regular professional trainings. Each counselor has different areas of expertise and are current on research and treatment. We enjoy the benefits of refining our clinical skills as a group of counselors and working together to meet our community’s needs. Our goal is to provide clients with efficient and thorough counseling. We will not rush our clients, nor will we needlessly prolong therapy.
We walk alongside clients in order to hear and help in a way that brings about lasting change. We believe God created each person uniquely, and we seek to first understand the specific experiences, beliefs, and situations of our clients. By focusing on finding the heart of the struggle, we are able to develop realistic and helpful solutions together.
