Finding the right counselor can feel overwhelming, especially when you're seeking someone you can genuinely connect with. I believe the connection between counselor and client is one of the most important aspects of the therapeutic process. An authentic connection creates the foundation for trust, safety, and meaningful change. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC A) in Texas, I work with adolescents, young adults, women, and parents. My background includes over ten years of experience in education and school counseling, where I supported adolescents and families through a wide range of challenges, helping them build resilience and move toward greater emotional well being.
My counseling approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and biblical truth. With a focus on helping clients recognize the unhelpful stories they are telling themselves, understand how those patterns impact emotions and behavior, and shift toward healthier ways of thinking that align with the truth of who God says they are.
I recognize that every individual is on their own spiritual journey. Whether you are deeply rooted in your faith, questioning it, or unsure where you stand, I strive to meet you where you are with empathy and grace. In seasons when you're just trying to hold everything together, my hope is that counseling becomes a place where you can be honest about what you're facing, feel genuinely supported, and no longer feel like you have to carry it alone.
I hold a master’s degree in counseling and am licensed in Texas as an LPC Associate under the supervision of Jill Wiseman, LPC S, and Jeanne Hensley, M.S., LPC S. Outside of work, I enjoy life with my husband and our two young children. We love good Mexican food, weekend adventures, and creating space for joy and connection amid the busyness of family life.
If you're looking for a counselor who values connection, understanding, and walking alongside you through life’s challenges, I’d be honored to connect.
