Growing up comes with big emotions, challenges, and changes — and sometimes children and teens need extra support. Adults, too, can find themselves navigating seasons of stress, transition, and uncertainty. My goal is to provide faith-based, compassionate counseling for children, adolescents, and adults, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can build confidence, strengthen emotional skills, and discover their God-given strengths. With over 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents, I understand the unique pressures young people face in today’s culture. I have a passion for supporting and working with children on the autism spectrum.

Please be informed that I do not take any clients who have legal or court cases pending or open.  This includes parents of child clients who are in the process of going through a divorce; if there is a possibility of a divorce/custody modification; court orders that are only temporary; custody battles including between the parents or between grandparents and parents; open cases with Child Protective Services; or criminal abuse cases that are still open.    I do take clients whose legal and/or custody issues are completely resolved and finalized reports and court decrees are available and provided for review prior to seeing the child.

I also provide individual counseling for adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, grief, and relationship challenges, integrating biblical truth and clinical tools to support healing and growth.

My client-centered counseling approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. When working with younger children, I incorporate play therapy and therapeutic games to help them express themselves and process emotions in developmentally appropriate ways. For adults, sessions focus on practical tools, insight, and meaningful growth.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, a Master of Education in Guidance & Counseling, and a Master of Arts in Wellness & Mental Health Counseling.  I am licensed in Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Jeanne Hensley, M.S., LPC-S.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our three amazing sons, and two goofy dogs.
