Hi, I’m Nicole. While working with college students, individual adults, and couples, I see each person as unique in identity and purpose and tailor my counseling to your needs as a whole person. My interests are many and broad, but I am especially interested in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, trauma, betrayal, stress, perfectionism, depression, loneliness, interpersonal relationships, life transitions, and career counseling. I am passionate about trauma work and am trained in EMDR therapy, which I believe is extremely effective in facilitating lasting healing by helping the brain’s natural healing process. I also have received the rigorous training and education in helping spouses who have experienced marital betrayal. I am a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist through APSATS. I also really enjoy pre-marital counseling and am a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator (SYMBIS).

Sometimes in life things can be a little confusing, but other times completely overwhelming. These places can feel messy and broken, and genuinely like chaos, leaving us feeling isolated. Whatever you’ve experienced, I believe that you have a story worth telling and that you aren’t meant to go it alone. It is my greatest honor to walk alongside you in and through the ashes and weeds of life. I believe that it is the experience of being fully known and accepted in the safety of the therapeutic relationship that healing can take place. It is my desire to partner with you in the highs and lows in every season. I truly believe there is hope, freedom, peace, and flourishing to be found.

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Community, Family, and Addiction Sciences from Texas Tech University with a minor in American Sign Language, and a Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and find it truly a joy to do this work.

When I’m not counseling, I enjoy doing something creative, listening to a good book or podcast, and dancing around jamming to good music! Other than that, you can probably find me spending time with my husband, playing with our dog, enjoying a good snack, or spending time with our community!
