I believe that every person has a unique, God-given purpose. My therapeutic approach is centered on integrative Christian counseling, which is anchored in biblical principles and combined with evidence based modalities like EMDR. I take an eclectic approach, tailoring my methods to each client's unique needs. I approach every client with compassion and empathy, meeting them where they are while encouraging them to take an active role in their therapy. Together, we collaborate to set meaningful and attainable goals, building a strong therapeutic alliance. My ultimate aim is to empower clients to walk in resilience, confidence, and freedom, so they can live fully in the destiny God intended for them.
I enjoy working with adolescence and adults in individual, couples, and group settings, with specialties in trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief. I offer a safe space for healing that addresses the whole person – spirit, soul, and body. I am especially passionate about helping clients break cycles of dysfunction, establish healthy boundaries, and discover lasting freedom. I welcome anyone seeking counseling from all faith and will integrate spirituality into the counseling process according to your guidance.
For nearly 25 years, I have combined my passion for mental health with my calling and ministry. I begin my journey in psychiatry and clinical research before pursuing my higher degree in counseling. Today, I serve as both a therapist and a lead minister, where I walk alongside individuals on their paths to healing and transformation. My role as a lead minister at my church is deeply connected to my passion for counseling. Through my ministry, I've had the privilege of walking alongside individuals on their inner healing journeys. This experience has shown me firsthand how trauma and life challenges can hinder growth, but also how transformative it can be when people find a safe and supportive environment to heal. As a therapist, I am committed to creating a similar space for healing, growth, and change can take place.
I hold a master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University and advanced training in EMDR.
Outside of my professional life, I have been joyfully married since 2006, and I am a mother to three beautiful children. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, and traveling.
