I am passionate about walking with individuals and families as they navigate transitions and the many seasons of life. Whether you’re a teen wrestling with identity, a young adult finding their footing, or an adult navigating relationships, stress, or calling, I strive to create a safe and grounding space where you can explore your story and grow with confidence and clarity.
My clinical interests include emerging adulthood, relationship difficulties, complex trauma, individuals struggling with anxiety, gifted and high-performing adolescents, high-achieving professionals, former athletes, disability, and chronic illness. I also support clients experiencing depression, grief, stress, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. I am committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based, and compassionate care to clients across the lifespan, and I am pursuing advanced training in DBT and trauma to better serve clients across presenting concerns.
I hold a deep appreciation for the unique experiences, faith backgrounds, and family systems that shape who we become. I enjoy helping clients understand how thoughts, beliefs, and family patterns show up in their everyday lives and relationships. In my work, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and a highly individualized, person-centered approach to meet each client exactly where they are. Life’s shifting dynamics can lead to anxiety, overwhelm, disconnection, or discouragement, and my goal is to walk alongside clients in a way that brings healing, freedom, and peace.
With a background in faith-based work and holistic wellness, I integrate Christian spirituality into counseling when desired and believe deeply in the connection between mind, body, and soul. As a fitness coach and athlete in the Houston community, I love helping clients understand how physical health, movement, and emotional well-being work together, and I find joy in helping my clients create a life they love.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who works with teens, adults, and families. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University, obtained through the University Scholars program, where I studied Psychology and communication. Additionally, I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas, a CACREP-accredited program. I am under the supervision of Jeanne Hensley, LPC-S.
Outside the counseling room, I am actively involved in the Houston fitness community and my church. I enjoy competing in Hyrox competitions, hiking, trying new foods, singing, cheering on the Astros or the Texans, playing with my dog, and spending time with family and friends.
